The collaboration received since the year 2000 has allowed us to see through that which we thought to be just a dream; the opening of the first pediatric cardiovascular unit in our Dominican Republic, where our patients can receive treatment in time to heal their affections regardless of their economic status.
Since the opening of the CEDIMAT Pediatric Cardiovascular Unit, over 340 interventions have been performed on children in need. This unit was created as a close collaboration between CEDIMAT Hospital and Heart Care Dominicana Inc.
